Intervention Support Officer

35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (ie term time only)

Permanent – with effect from 1st September 2020

Salary: Grade D, scp 7 to 12: £15,298 - £16,890 (actual pay range - approximately)

We are seeking to appoint an Intervention Support Officer, to start as soon as possible.  This role was introduced in the 2018/19 academic year, with its main purpose being to work alongside key staff to promote excellent behaviour and to provide intervention support for students.

You will need to be a team player with a commitment to working alongside and supporting students.  Experience of working with young people is an advantage, but training will be given.

Pastoral Support Officer with responsibility for Careers

37 hours per week, 39 weeks pa (term-time plus five days)

Permanent – with effect from 1st September 2020

Salary: Grade E, scp 16 to 22: £19,836 to £22,338 (actual salary range - approximately)

This is a new role, with its main purpose being to work strategically with the school leadership to provide pastoral support and have responsibility for impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance to students, to advise on the delivery of quality careers education ensuring students have a wide range of opportunities and experiences provided to explore KS4, Post 16 and Post 18 pathways. 

You will need to be a team player with the ability to work independently to ensure the best life opportunities for our students.
